Each year, AMI hosts a variety of events, including case competitions, speaker panels and professional development workshops for our general members.
AMI's annual opening night will be held on Tuesday, 8 March, at 6.00pm at the University of Auckland Business School. The event will include informational presentations about upcoming projects, recruitment and our professional development programme. You'll also be hearing from a number of influential speakers, with specialist knowledge of the microfinance sector. To conclude the night, you'll be able to network with the speakers and the AMI Exec Team.
Conference: MIcrofinance and Financial Development
AMI's new conference series will be bringing prestigious speakers in the fields of Microfinance and Financial Development to The University of Auckland. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about these fascinating fields and network with those involved.
Introduction to consulting
Introduction to Consulting is all about ensuring that our consultants are fully aware of the work we do, and our different projects for the semester.
Training Day is a fun and interactive day for consultants to get to know their teams as well as gain insight on past projects. The aim of this workshop is to ensure that consultants feel comfortable and ready to take on their role!
Mentoring Programme Networking
As part of the new mentoring programme, AMI will be hosting its first mentoring evening. This is an exclusive opportunity for mentees of the programme to meet their mentors, network with other students, and gain insight on potential career pathways to pursue.
We'll be holding a tutorial for the GMCC case competition on Wednesday 1st of August, at 6.00pm, in OGGB Case Room 3.
