Each year, AMI hosts a variety of events, including case competitions, speaker panels and professional development workshops for our general members.
AMI's annual opening night will be held on Wednesday, 15 March, at 6.00pm at the University of Auckland Business School. The event will include informational presentations about upcoming projects, recruitment and our professional development programme. You'll also be hearing from a number of influential speakers, with specialist knowledge of the microfinance sector. To conclude the night, you'll be able to network with the speakers and the AMI Exec Team.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
Our Professional Development Workshop is the final part of our new online Professional Development Programme. The workshop will be a half-day event, held on the weekend, and will test skills learnt as part of the online modules in a mini-case competition format. The workshop is mandatory for members of the Consulting and Research teams, and optional for general members.
Semester 1 Social Evening
Our social evening will start at 6.00pm in OGGB 260-040B, where our consultants will present the work they've done on their projects so far. This will be a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the consulting work that AMI does, especially if you're interested in joining the consulting team next year. After the presentations, we will be heading to shadows for some casual drinks and snacks. For more information, check our the Facebook event.
We'll be holding a tutorial for the GMCC case competition on Wednesday 2nd of August, at 6.00pm, in OGGB Case Room 3.
